PanAust is pleased to announce it has commenced a project to construct a concrete road between Nam Mo village and Nam Mo Secondary School, Xaisomboun Province, close to its Phu Kham Copper-Gold Operation in Laos.
Made possible through the Company’s Community Development Fund, upon completion, the 1.9 kilometre long, 6 metre-wide road will provide long-term benefits to Nam Mo village, including better linkages to other areas in the Province. Furthermore, it highlights PanAust’s ongoing commitment to leave a long lasting, positive legacy in Laos.
PanAust has a long history of contributing to the improvement of community and public infrastructure in Laos, particularly in the communities close to where it operates. Projects to date have included building and upgrading medical and educational facilities, community buildings, road development and maintenance, and installing water and sanitation systems.
