  • Caterpillar 5-star Contamination Control (CC) ratings retained for PanAust’s mobile maintenance workshop and supply warehouse at Phu Kham and mobile maintenance workshop at Ban Houayxai. PanAust's facilities are two of three workshops worldwide to receive the maximum 5-star rating, and were the first to achieve this milestone in a developing country.

  • Austmine's Mining Innovation Conference & Exhibition: PanAust recognised as an innovator in the mining industry, winning the 'Miners Innovation Award' for its diesel backloading project.

  • ASEAN Business Awards: PanAust is named runner-up for the 'Best Practices in Sustainable Minerals Development – Metalic Mineral Processing Award'.

  • Australian and New Zealand SAP Best Run Business Awards: PanAust named as a finalist in the data and analytics category, acknowledged by SAP for its work to improve operational efficiencies. 

2018

  • ASEAN Business Awards: PanAust received the prestigious 'Friend of ASEAN Award'. The Award acknowledges the Company's continuous and increased commitment to growing its presence in Laos and thereby positively impacting its economy.

  • Lao ASEAN Business Awards: PanAust received the 'Friend of Laos Award'. The Award recognised the Company's contribution to the socio-economic development of Laos, and highlights PanAust's commitment to ensuring its presence positively impacts its host communities.

  • 19th Annual ASEAN Occupational Safety and Health Network (OSHNET) Conference: PanAust's was presented with the Excellence Award for its outstanding safety performance.

2017

  • Austmine Mining Innovation Conference & Exhibition: PanAust's innovative approach to mining was recognised as a finalist for the Miners Innovation Award. The nomination recognised an inventive solution to simplify and improve the maintenance of its primary excavator fleet in Laos.

  • Government of Laos' Lao PDR Labour Order Class 1 Medal: The Medal recognised the Company's outstanding contribution to upgrading road infrastructure in the Khammouane Province, and its contribution to broader socio-economic development in Laos.

2016

2015

  • 2015 CDP Australian Climate Leadership Awards: PanAust received the award for Most Profitable Carbon Reduction Activity, which recognised a range of energy-efficiency initiatives the Company put in place at its operations in Laos that delivered significant financial benefits.

2013

  • Caterpillar 5-star Contamination Control (CC) ratings: The Ban Houayxai Gold-Silver Operation received a five-star rating from Caterpillar Inc. for its mobile maintenance and mobile warehouse facilities. The rating is one of only six worldwide and the first in a developing country.

  • Mines and Money Hong Kong Asia Mining Awards: PanAust received the Project Development of the Year Award in recognition for outstanding project management for the development of the Ban Houayxai Gold-Silver Operation.

  • Asia Mining Congress: PanAust received the Sustainability Leadership Award. The award recognised the Company’s program to create and support business opportunities within the villages closest to their mining operations in Laos.

2011

  • Government of Laos' Labour Medal Class One for the ‘Best Development in a Rural Area: The award is presented once every five years and recognised the Company’s outstanding contribution to rural socio-economic development and poverty eradication in Laos between 2006 and 2010.

  • Livelihood Improvement Program in Laos: PanAust received the Australian-based Ethical Investor Sustainability Award in the community and social category.

  • Asia Mining Congress: PanAust received the Award for Best Community Development Initiative in the Southeast Asia category for its Technical Trades Training Program.

2010

  • Asia Mining Congress: PanAust received the Award for Best Community Development Initiative for the Company’s Livelihood Improvement Program.
