Mr Daling Zheng

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer

Mr Daling Zheng is PanAust Limited’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. He has 20 years of experience in asset management and investment in China and internationally and holds a Master of Commerce (Applied Finance) from the University of Queensland, an MBA from Murdoch University, and a postgraduate diploma from the Queensland University of Technology.

Prior to joining PanAust Limited, Daling worked for Shenzhen Zhongjin Lingnan Nonferrous Metal Co. where he was involved in mergers, acquisitions, and the asset management of international mines.

Daling’s previous experience includes as an investment approval officer in the Investment Management Committee of the China Ping An Group where he was responsible for the acquisition of global-listed companies and commercial banks, underwriting, investing in corporate bonds, and participating in Moody and Standard & Poor’s credit rating on Ping An Group. He has also been responsible for corporate banking at the China Minsheng Bank, and was an analyst in the energy and nonferrous metal industry at CITIC Futures.

Daling was appointed an Executive Director of PanAust Limited on 27 August 2018, Chief Financial Officer on 15 January 2019 and Deputy Chief Executive Officer on 23 July 2020. In 2022 Daling was appointed as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of PanAust Limited.

Ms Yuan He

Ms Yuan He has more than 20 years’ financial management experience across a range of sectors including finance, development, technology and mining.

Ms He began her career in 2003 as Assistant Manager at Guangdong Yueke Financial Group Co., Ltd. after completing an accounting degree  at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics and has held senior financial positions with various Guangdong state-owned companies since.

Ms He worked for Guangdong Yueke Financial Group Co., Ltd for 11 years before moving to Guangdong Rising Digital Tech Co., Ltd where she was appointed Vice General Manager, Finance Department. In 2015, Ms He moved to Guangdong Rising Holdings Group Co., Ltd. where she worked for eight years in senior management positions.

Ms He joined Guangdong Rising Development Co., Ltd. as its Assistant President in 2023 and in 2024, Ms He took on her current position of Chief Financial Officer of PanAust.

Ms He became a Non-Executive Director of the PanAust Limited Board of Directors on 31 May 2024.

Mr Qiushi Liu

Mr Liu began his career in 2009 as a Project Mining Engineer at Eldorado Gold Corporation after completing a Master of Mining Engineering degree between 2006 and 2009 at the University of Science and Technology in Beijing, China.

After two years, in 2011 Mr Liu was appointed Mining Manager at Hanking where he worked for three years before joining Mongolia Energy as Deputy General Manager.

In 2014, Mr Liu joined Guangdong Rising Holding’s Overseas Development Department where he worked for seven years in the position of Senior Manager.

Mr Liu joined PanAust’s Lao-based business, Phu Bia Mining, as Deputy General Manager of Operation Improvement and New Projects in 2021. In 2024 he was appointed Deputy Managing Director of Phu Bia Mining.

Mr Liu is a Chinese Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chinese Mineral Resources Appraiser.

Mr Liu became a Non-Executive Director of the PanAust Limited Board of Directors on 12 June 2024.

Ms Mengjie Qiu

Ms Mengjie Qiu has more than 26 years of experience in project investment and development, focusing on the mining, oil and gas, and renewable energy sectors.

Twelve of those years were spent working exclusively in the banking sector both in China and Australia for Westpac, ANZ, Bank of China and the China Construction Bank where she participated in providing syndication loans and commercial lending to numerous clients.

Ms Qiu moved into financial advisory in 2012, joining Deloitte as the Director of its Chinese Service Group and assisted China inbound clients with their investments in Australia.

After five years, Ms Qiu joined GHD as the Market Leader – Asian Inbound Investment, where she provided professional integrated services across Energy & Resources, Infrastructure, Environment, Water and Property & Buildings, to clients originating from mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia.

Ms Qiu joined KordaMentha as a Director in 2023 where she currently works with large-scale mining, oil and gas and renewable companies and provides professional advisory in the areas of M&A, capital raisings, debt raising and strategic advisory.

Ms Qiu holds an MBA in Finance conferred by the Queensland University of Technology and she is a qualified Australian CPA.

Ms Qiu became a Non-Executive Director of the PanAust Limited Board of Directors on 6 June 2024.
