Today PanAust released its 2022 Business Review and Sustainability Report, detailing its performance and achievements from 1 January to 31 December 2022.

2022 was a year of significant progress. We delivered on several of our strategic priorities, achieving improvement in production and cash flow, as well as safety. The year ended fatality free with no external debt and we continued to advance growth projects.

Some of the key achievements highlighted in the Report are:

• Successful extension of the Laos-based Ban Houaxyai mine life to 2030
• Taking the cyanide transport in-house and becoming cyanide code compliant for logistics
• First Safety Summit held since 2019 after restrictions in 2020 and 2021 from COVID-19
• Greater than USD 250K spent on community development projects in Laos and Papua New Guinea
• Environmental permitting work packages completed for the Frieda River Project
• 21 percent female participation in the workforce maintained from 1 January – 31 December 2022.
