On 29 September, PanAust’s Lao-registered Company, Phu Bia Mining (PBM) donated two ventilators, three syringe pumps and 100 viral transport medium tubes to the Head of Xaisomboun Provincial Taskforce Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, Vice Governor Mr Daeng Pathoumthong.

The donation was part of the Company’s in-kind US$100,000 medical assistance package announced in May to help the Province combat COVID-19.

In attendance at the special ceremony held at the Xaisomboun Cabinet Office were Company representatives including PBM Chairman, Mr Chanpheng Bounnaphol and General Manager – Operations, David Reid.
